Tone of voice plays a vital role in your communication with customers. You may want it to be direct or friendly, depending on your company's brand strategy.
Each of Judge.me email templates comes with different tones of voice for you to choose from, including: friendly, direct and elegant. You can also choose Custom and make your own tone of voice for each email.
Note:
Emails with different tones of voice are only available in English now.
1. Choose the tone of voice for all emails
To change the tone of voice for all emails:
- Go to Settings > Review Requests > Email Templates
- Scroll down and find the Email Tone of Voice box, then choose your preferred tone of voice from the drop-down menu.
- Any changes you made on the emails will be lost if a new tone of voice is applied. If you prefer to choose a different tone of voice for each email, follow the instructions in part 2.
2. Customize the tones of voice for different emails
To choose tone of voice for each email, follow these steps:
Review request emails
- Go to Email Templates > Email Templates tab.
- Click Edit template.
- In the Email Settings tab, choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
2. Reply to review email
- Go to Settings > Other Emails tab > Reply to Review Email tab
- Scroll down and find the Reply to Review Template, then choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
3. Review confirmation email
- Go to Settings > Other Emails tab > Review Confirmation Email tab
- Scroll down and find the Review Confirmation Template, then choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
4. Coupon emails
- Go to Settings > Rewards > Coupons
- Scroll down and find the Coupon Email, then choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
5. Media reminder emails
- Go to Settings > Other Emails tab > Media Reminder Email tab
- Scroll down and find the Media Reminder Template, then choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
6. Q&A notification emails
- Go to Settings > Other Emails tab > Q/A Notification Email tab
- Scroll down and find the Answer Notification Email, then choose your preferred Email Tone of Voice from the drop-down menu.
