1. Add to your list of plugins

  • From your WordPress dashboard, choose Plugins > Add New.
  • Search for plugin and click Install Now.
  • Activate the plugin.

  • Now you can see plugin in your WooCommerce admin panel

2. Installing widgets

2.1. Automatic installation

There are three widgets that can be installed automatically: Preview Badge on the Collection/Category Page, Preview Badge on the Product Page, and Review Widget on the Product Page.

You can enable or disable these widgets by using the toggle bars in Tab > General  > Widgets: Quick Installation.

Automatic installation might not work for some themes, which causes the widgets to be invalid or misplaced. This is because our automatic installation is based on visual hooks, which are reference-names that your WordPress themes give to their elements, and that, unfortunately, can be different from theme to theme.

When the automatic installation of any of these 3 widgets fails, you'll need to use a new visual hook (check part 2.2) or install the widgets using a shortcode (check part 2.3).

2.2. Change the position of the automatic installation using Visual Hook (advanced)

The advantage of using visual hooks is that you can enable the widgets on all pages with the same hook. This can't be done if you use shortcodes - you'll need to install the widgets on each one of the pages. So if you want to display the widgets on all product or category pages, using visual hooks is the best solution. uses these 3 visual hooks below to auto-install the widgets. They are also the more common visual hooks in WooCommerce themes:

  • Preview Badge on Product page: woocommerce_single_product_summary
  • Preview Badge on Category page: woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title
  • Review Widget on Product Page: woocommerce_after_single_product_summary

To fix the position of any widgets using the right visual hook, you need to:

Step 1: Disable the default installation of the widget using the toggle in the tab

Step 2: Add a new action to the theme to install the widget in a different position based on the right visual hook

  1. Contact your theme developer to help you modifying functions.php.
  2. (preferred) Using a user-friendly plugin like Code Snippets to add a new snippet with the new action. Check this article for detailed tutorials.

2.3. Manual Installation (using shortcodes)

Manual installation using shortcodes is helpful when:

  • Install Preview Badge (collection), Preview Badge (product) and Review Widget when the automatic installation doesn’t work
  • Install other widgets of (All Reviews Page, Reviews Carousel, etc.)

There are two ways to add the shortcodes (check this article for a detailed manual installation guide):

1. Using the native Editing features in WooCommerce

If you prefer using the Editing features in WooCommerce, the shortcodes can be added using the Shortcode block in the native Page editor for pages that are not Product Pages. For Product Pages, the shortcodes can be added in any content box at the native Product Editor. It’s also possible to add shortcodes using the native Customizer (“Customize” on the top bar).

2. Using page-builder plugins

Elementor, Divi, Beaver, etc. are popular page-builder plugins in WooCommerce. All of them include HTML, Text, or Shortcode blocks that you can use to add the shortcodes, and then position, scale or move the blocks however you need.
