Judge.me will send a separate review request and reminder (if enabled) for each line item in a fulfilled order. In this article, we'll explain in detail how review requests and reminders are sent based on your predetermined request timing.


To adjust your request timing, go to Settings > Review Request > Timing and Format > Request Timing.

  • You can send review requests for at most 1 to 7 line items in the order, even if the order had more than 1 to 7 products in it. For example, if your order contains 10 line items, but you choose to send at most 2 review requests, we'll only send review requests for 2 line items in the order.
    • If you use the Single Review Email Template, we'll send 2 review requests for 2 line items.
    • If you use the Multi Review Email Template, we'll send 1 review request for 2 line items.
    • If you use Custom Email Templates, you can mix between the Single Review block and Multi Review block. Then you can choose to send (1) multiple emails, one for each qualifying line item in the order, or (2) a single email, even if the order contains multiple products.
  • You can set different times to start sending out the first review requests and reminders for domestic ordersĀ and international orders. You can also set the distance between two review requests and reminders.


  • You can send up to 3 automatic reminders (if you are on our Awesome plan) and choose different email templates for each reminder emails by creating email sequences.
  • We'll start sending reminders only when all initial review requests have been sent for all line items.


  • At each step, we'll check again if the line item is qualified and only send review requests for qualified line items. For example:
    • If your customers have submitted reviews for a line item with the email they use to place the orders, we won't send review requests for that line item.
    • If your customers have submitted reviews after the first review request, we won't send automatic reminders.
    • If you exclude specific products from the review request schedule, we also skip sending requests to those products.
    • According to our spam prevention policy, we won't send review requests to the same reviewer if he received a request in the last 7 days for different orders.

Example 1: A two-line item domestic order

Request timing:

- Sending review requests for at most 2 line items.

- The initial review request goes out 14 days after order fulfillment for domestic orders.

- Every next review request goes out 3 days later for domestic orders.

- Send 2 automatic reminders.

Review request schedule:

Given that the user chooses Single Review Email Template and review requests will be sent for each qualifying line item.


Example 2: A two-line item domestic order and a two-line item international order placed on the same day

Request timing:

- Sending review requests for at most 2 line items.

- The initial review request goes out 14 days after order fulfillment for domestic orders, 20 days after order fulfillment for international orders.

- Every next review request goes out 3 days later for domestic orders, 5 days after for international orders.

- Send 2 automatic reminders.

Review request schedule:

Given that the user chooses Single Review Email Template and review requests will be sent for each qualifying line item.
