We will automatically verify reviews that are made via our Review Request email (source = email).
For reviews submitted directly on the live store (source = Web), we will send an email to the customer to verify their review if:
-We find an order with the email address
-The review verification email is enabled here https://judge.me/settings?jump_to=enable+review+verification+email
After the reviewer has clicked on the verify link in the Web Review Verification email, the review will then be automatically verified.
This behavior is to prevent cases where a random person, knowing an email has made a purchase before, leaves a review under that email and then we would incorrectly mark the web review as verified without the reviewer knowing.
In cases like the one you mentioned, we could verify the reviews for you if you provide us with proof that the reviews are from genuine buyers, once we check we'll verify them for you, to proceed with this, you can reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll assist you with the matter.
What if I sell my products at a local market and then the customer leaves a review. This app cannot verify the purchase and the customers sometimes will not nor need to leave a email address when they already purchased the product. How can I get the review to say verified?
