Hi there,
It is true that we can ask previous customers for a product review for out-of-stock products(as long as the products are not removed from the shop but are still present).
There are 2 ways to schedule review requests manually for the older customers:
1. Manually via CSV file (free) https://support.judge.me/support/solutions/articles/44001260122-schedule-the-manual-review-requests-in-bulk-via-csv-upload
2. Automatically via the setting (Shopify, Awesome plan) https://support.judge.me/support/solutions/articles/44001260123-schedule-the-review-requests-for-old-shopify-orders
Our app does provide the review carousel on the homepage so it can feature product reviews if you prefer. If you have already installed the app, you can go to Settings > Other Widgets > Reviews Carousel > Review Carousel Installation to enable this widget.
Feel free to let us know if you have other questions.

Greetings,
My 2019 start-up business was inactive in late 2020 -2021 for several challenging reasons. I did no paid marketing but had a few sales.
I am just getting it together and want to contact those 2021 customers for product reviews. The products that were purchased are no longer in stock, but I'm thinking with Judge.me app it wouldn't matter. Is that correct?
I'm thinking that Judge.me will allow the product reviews to be placed on the home page as a carousel, and I can contact the older customers to send me an email?
Please advise. I don't want to install the app to then have to uninstall it.
