Missing field 'itemReviewed'


Hello,


I tried Judge.me and removed as a part of my testing. I had one review on a product before I deleted judge.me from my shopify store. Now Google complains about Missing field 'itemReviewed'.


How can I get the error removed?

The issue originates because the is some left-over code from our app in your store. I can help you delete everything, but in order to help you I would need you to grant me with staff account access to your store, please. 

Grant the access to support@judge.me, I'd just need themes permission.


Send us an email when you grant us access, please.

Sorry for the late response. I could be able to help you with that. If you don't have available staff accounts, that's alright. I could send you a collaborators account request, you'd just have to accept it.

But to be able to send it I would need you to confirm if this is your store: olivo-real.myshopify.com 


If I find that the error is coming from the Judge.me left overs, I would be able to fix it. However, if the error comes from Yotpo, your current review app, you would need to contact them.

Thank you for granting us access.


I have checked your structured data and I can see that the aggregate rating field is missing, which is producing the missing field 'itemReviewed' issue.


Since you are not using Judge.me anymore, we are not appending our aggregate rating value. You would need to ask Yotpo to get their aggregate ratings field into your store's structured data. That way the issue will go away and your ratings will start showing up in search results.


Regarding any left-over code from our app, there was actually none.

do you have a tutorial on how to migrate from Yopto to Judge.me as not to lose reviews and cause any issues with the shop?

It is not difficult to switch from Yotpo to Judge.me. Here is what you need to do to perform a successful switch:


  1. Export all your reviews from Yotpo. We have a short article here to help you: https://support.judge.me/support/solutions/articles/44001753742-exporting-reviews-from-yotpo
  2. Go ahead and install Judge.me. You can choose what widgets would you like to have automatically installed in your store. We can also help you out hiding their widgets from your store, so only ours is displayed.
  3. Uninstall Yotpo. WARNING: if you would like to remove their code from your store, we strongly recommend reaching their support team and asking for their code removal. Otherwise, you might end up breaking your store.
  4. You can send us your CSV file (exported reviews) to check out the file's format and import your reviews for you.
