Questions about Review request emails

We would like to use the Single product review email. We see there’s a new function to allow customers to review other products they purchased. We have a few questions below:


  • If a customer only purchased 1 product, she will receive 1 product in-email review, correct? In this case, no “review other products” section appears because she only purchases 1 product. Thanks!
  • If a customer purchased 2 products, she can review 1 product in-email, and review the 2nd product she purchased under the “review other products” section on the website. The product which is placed in-email review depends on the criteria settings. Thanks!
  • If a customer purchased 2 or more products, how many review emails will she receive? Does she still receive 1 product per email or just receive one email in total? Thanks!
  • Following the above question, if a customer ONLY receives 1 email with 2 or more products purchased, the product which is placed in-email review depends on the most expensive setting. The 2nd and 3rd products purchased will appear under the “review other products” section on the website. Thanks!

1°: Yes, exactly.

2°: Yes, that is correct too. You can set the Request Review Product Order based on: Most expensive, Least expensive, Random or Least reviews.

 

3° and 4°: If you enable the option "review other products", the customer will receive just one email. The review in-email will follow the order you choose (for example, Most expensive). However, if the "review other products" option is not enabled, the customer would receive three separate emails, one per product. A product will be excluded from the email if the customer has already left a review for it.
