EcomSolid is the all-in-one visual editor for product pages, landing pages & more. Judge.me is integrated with EcomSolid so you can easily drag and drop the Judge.me Review Widget, Preview Badge and Reviews Carousel when customizing your pages in EcomSolid theme.
How to add Judge.me widgets to EcomSolid theme
Before adding the widgets, make sure to install both Judge.me and EcomSolid.
1. Adding the Judge.me widgets to your Product pages
Step 1: Go to the theme editor
- Head to the EcomSolid Dashboard > Theme Editor and select the Product Pages from the top bar.
- Access the Library from the top bar of the Editor.
Step 2: Add the Judge.me widgets block
- Navigate to Add-ons > Third party and look for Judge.me Reviews.
- After that, click on the Add button, and the add-on will be inserted at the bottom of your Editor.
Step 3: Choose the widget position
Hit the Pick the position drop-down menu to select a position from the list. Otherwise, click on Change position. You will be able to drop the add-on to a specific position. Kindly note that the Judge.me Reviews add-on should be placed inside a product section to work correctly.
2. Adding the Judge.me widgets to your Collection pages
Step 1: Go to the theme editor
- Head to the EcomSolid Dashboard > Theme Editor and select the Collection Pages from the top bar.
- Access the Library from the top bar of the Editor.
Step 2: Add the Judge.me widgets block
- Next, navigate to Add-ons > Third party and look for Judge.me Reviews.
- After that, click on the Add button, and the add-on will be inserted at the bottom of your Editor.
Step 3: Choose the widget position
Hit the Pick the position drop-down menu to select a position from the list. Otherwise, click on Change position. You will be able to drop the add-on to a specific position. By doing so, the widget is only displayed on your Collection Page. If you want it to show on all the pages that contain a Product List, please move the add-on to Global.
3. Adding the Judge.me widgets to your Homepage
Step 1: Go to the theme editor
Head to the EcomSolid Dashboard > Theme Editor and select the Homepage from the top bar.
Step 2: Add the Product section on your Homepage
(skip this step if you’ve already had a Product section)
- Access the Library from the top bar of the Editor.
- Next, navigate to Sections > Product. Select your preferred Featured Product and hit Insert to add it to your Editor.
Step 3: Add the Judge.me widgets block
- Go to the Library > Add-ons > Third party and look for “Judge.me Reviews”.
- Hit the Add button.
Step 4: Choose the widget position
Hit the Pick the position drop-down menu to select a position from the list. Otherwise, click on Change position. You will be able to drop the add-on to a specific position. Place it inside a product section you created previously.
4. Choosing the widget type
EcomSolid allows you to add these widgets into any sections on the theme.
- Preview Badge
- Review Widget
- Review Carousel
Note:
The Preview Badge and Review Widget can only fetch reviews/ratings if they are installed inside a product section (product details, master product list, feature product, etc..). Otherwise, they will just show 0 reviews.
To choose the widget type, click on the Judge.me Reviews add-on to reveal the configuration options in the left sidebar. Under the Choose Widget section, select the type of widget you want to display:
- Select Star Badge if you want to display the Preview Badge (star ratings).
- Select Reviews if you want to display the Review Widget (product reviews).
- Select Carousel if you want to display the Reviews Carousel (a carousel of your best reviews).
5. Adding other Judge.me widgets to your pages
- To add other widgets, you need to insert widget code in the Custom Code block. Check this article for detailed instructions or contact support@judge.me if you need any help.
- The Reviews Carousel, Floating Reviews Tab, and All Reviews Page can be installed by enabling the widget in the Judge.me setting too.
