As a reviewer on Judge.me, you have certain rights when it comes to your personal data. These rights are outlined in the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), specifically in Articles 15 to 22. In this guide, we'll explain your data rights and how Judge.me safeguards them.

1. Right to access, see GDPR Article 15
You have the right to know whether your personal data is being processed or not, and if so, how to access it. The store you purchased from needs to inform you about this data processing.
If you want to see which data Judge.me has processed about you, you can send your requests to the stores or directly to Judge.me.
If you send the request via a store, we will send you your data within that store only.
If you send the request directly to Judge.me, we will send you your data across all stores that you have submitted reviews.
After receiving your request, we’ll send you an output file of your data in JSON format.
*Note: When you contact the store or Judge.me to request access to your data, make sure to provide the same email address used when you submit your reviews.
If you only want to see the reviews and other personal data related to the submission of your review, you can check your reviewer profile page.
2. Right to rectification/Right to edit, see GDPR Article 16
You have the right to edit personal data if it is incorrect.
Judge.me lets you edit your display name, edit your display name format, as well as edit your submitted reviews on your reviewer profile page. Please contact the store you purchased from if you want to edit other personal data.
Note: The stores that you purchased from have the right to request a minor edit of the review content (e.g. correct the typos), and you have the right to either approve or reject the review edit.
3. Right to erasure/Right to be forgotten, see GDPR Article 17
You have the right to be forgotten.
If you want to delete your personal data from Judge.me, please contact us via [email protected]. When we receive an erasure request, we'll delete the data related to the reviews you have submitted on Judge.me. If you want to delete the data you have given when placing the orders, please contact the store you purchased from.
You can also delete your submitted reviews from your review profile page.
4. Right to restriction of processing, see GDPR Article 18
You have the right to restrict the processing of personal data you provide to the store you purchase from. The store you purchased from needs to be addressed when you want to make use of your right to restriction.
Judge.me has introduced features that help merchants to exclude individual users (data subjects) proactively from receiving review request emails. Additionally, you have the right to unsubscribe to all emails sent by Judge.me by clicking the unsubscribe link or contact us via [email protected].
5. Right to be informed, see GDPR Article 19
You have the right to know which personal data is stored and by whom it is processed. The store you purchased from needs to inform you about this data processing.
If you want to see which data Judge.me has processed about you, you can send your requests to the stores or directly to Judge.me.
If you send the request via a store, we will send you your data within that store only.
If you send the request directly to Judge.me, we will send you your data across all stores that you have submitted reviews.

6. Right to data portability, see GDPR Article 20
You have the right to receive your data in a structured and processable format.
Judge.me has introduced a process that allows you as a reviewer to receive all your data in a structured and machine-readable format, which is easy to be imported and processed by other systems. You can see an example file of your output here (JSON format).
7. Right to object, see GDPR Article 21
You have the right to object the processing of personal data you provide to the store you purchase from. The store you purchased from needs to be addressed when you want to make use of your right to object.

8. Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, see GDPR Article 22
To our understanding, this right is not linked to the personal data that Judge.me processes on behalf of the merchant. Please note that Judge.me is not processing any special category data.
